Room4U fostering service provides high quality full time, short breaks and continuing care foster placements for teenagers and young parents and babies accommodated by local authorities in Scotland.
Our foster carers provide skilled care and support to the young people in placement so that placements last as long as needed and benefit the young people and babies concerned.
We offer services that are equally available to all young people and are sensitive to their needs combined with intensive through care and after care services, supporting young people to achieve positive destinations once they leave care.
Our carers also provide specialist parent and child placements offering nurturing care and support with our aim being to maximise the chances of babies being cared for successfully by their parents.
ROOM4U are part of the oldest child care organisation in Scotland, the Dean & Cauvin Young People’s Trust. We have been in existence since 1733, so we bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of adolescents and young parents and babies to the fostering service.
