Foster carer recruitment campaign

Room4U’s foster recent foster carer recruitment campaign, which took place from March – May 2017, has proved successful.  Six households applied to foster a teenager or a young parent and baby.  Most of the applicants are now attending the “Skills to Foster” course and their assessments will commence soon after the completion of the course.

If you are interested in becoming a foster carer with us, please get in contact via this web-site or by ringing 0131 337 3295.  We will send you an information pack and an application form.  The next “Skills to Foster” course will probably take place in November 2017. If you want to take part in the course (this is an essential requirement for fostering), we need to receive your application to foster by September 30th 2017.  If you have any queries or concerns which you want to discuss prior to completing an application form, please give us a ring.  Please also check this section of the web-site from time to time as we will hold some information “drop in” events later in the summer.
